There’s something undeniably exciting about unboxing a product. We’ve carefully designed every detail to depict the chosen home; not only do you get the 3D-printed model, but drawings and film as well. Here’s a closer look at what makes it a special package.
[1] The Gift Box
Minimalist Design: The first thing you’ll notice is the corrugated card box, with our logo sticker. There’s no fuss here, just beautiful, clean design to set the stage for what’s inside.
Eco-Friendly Materials: As you’d expect, this is made entirely from materials easily recyclable from home.
Protective Filling: Inside, shredded zig-zag paper, crafted from 100% recycled materials, cradles your model securely. The bright colours enhance the pristine white of the model, making it ‘pop’ the moment you lift the lid.
[2] The Model
Precision Craftsmanship: Perfect to sit in the palm of your hand, the Archetype model are scaled at 1:150. This means they typically measure around 10cm x 10cm x 10cm, though this can vary depending on the size of the original house.
Engraved Details: On the underside of the model, you’ll find the Made:Small logo, the scale, and a unique job code ‘etched’ in.
Bespoke Features: The level of detail in the model reflects the information provided by you. (For more on this, see our blog post on What we Need.) We also incorporate elements of the immediate garden context, such as planters, steps, and walls, to bring the scene to life.
[3] The Blueprint
Information and Design: This insert features elevational and isometric drawings of your model, showcasing its unique features in a different way. The scale and number of drawings depend on the model’s size and and number of facades.
A Personal Touch: Next to the drawings, you can find your custom message of up to 500 characters. This could be a heartfelt, personalised message, or some information about the house which is important to you.
Interactive Element: A QR code links you to a video of your model being 3D printed, offering a fascinating behind-the-scenes view of its creation. You can preview the films of previous builds on our YouTube channel.
[4] The Outer Packaging
Durable and Discreet: To protect the gift box during transit, everything is enclosed in an outer corrugated card box. For those sharing a home with the recipient, we offer the option to omit our logo for added surprise.
Shipping: We use Royal Mail and send all packages using their Tracked24 service, giving you peace-of-mind throughout its journey.
